How does our luggage transfer service work ?

What services do you offer?
We provide secure luggage transport from the airport to hotels and from hotels to the airport.

Our services are available:

– At the SafeBag counter in Terminal 1 (at the terminal entrance, on the exterior forecourt)
– At the SafeBag counter in Terminal 2, located on Level 0 (arrivals area), between doors A2 and A3
– As well as directly through our partner hotels

This service allows you to fully enjoy your stay by saving up to half a day of vacation, free from the hassle of handling your luggage.

What are our rates?

From or to the airport per luggage:

  • Nice / Saint Laurent du Var: €12.50

  • Antibes / Cannes: €17.50

Between hotel per luggage: €12.50 or €17.50 depending on the zone

Drop off my luggage at the hotel

How does hotel luggage drop-off work?

The hotel will provide you with tags to fill out, where you must indicate your name, phone number, and destination airport terminal. Each piece of luggage must have its own tag. Once the tags are completed and attached to your luggage, simply leave them at the hotel reception. Our staff will then collect the bags directly from the reception.

Do I need to be present when the luggage is picked up?

No. Once your luggage is left at the reception, our driver will collect it during the scheduled round from the hotel staff. Your presence is not required. However, please make sure to inform the hotel staff of our upcoming pickup.

Can I leave my luggage at the hotel without a transport booking?

No. If no booking has been made—neither by you nor by the hotel—our driver will not stop, assuming there is no luggage to collect.

How long before my flight should I drop off my luggage?

Your luggage must be dropped off at the hotel reception no later than the time specified during your booking.

Pickup times are fixed and cannot be changed. It is therefore essential to strictly respect the latest drop-off time at the hotel reception.

Any delay could compromise the pickup and timely delivery of your luggage to the airport.

Where should I drop off my luggage at the airport?
You must drop off your luggage at one of the SafeBag counters located in Terminals 1 and 2 at Nice Airport.

What happens after my luggage is picked up?
Once your luggage is collected, you’ll receive a confirmation email including a tracking number. This number allows you to track your luggage in real time until it reaches its final destination.

Is my luggage transported immediately after drop-off?
It depends on the drop-off time. Your luggage may be transported immediately or temporarily stored (free of charge) in a secure facility before being delivered to the designated address.

Do I need to book in advance to use your services ?

No, but we strongly recommend booking through our online platform to ensure availability.

You can also use our service without a reservation by going directly to our airport counters.
Please note that transport without a booking is only available from the airport to hotels.

How does the luggage storage service work ?

Luggage storage is operated by our partner SafeBag, directly at the airport. As part of the Bagizy luggage transport service, your bag is safely deposited there, and you benefit from 90 minutes of free storage starting from the time of delivery. After this period, storage fees will apply and must be paid directly at the SafeBag counter.

You can also store luggage or personal belongings there independently of our transport service.

When can I drop off my luggage ?

You can drop off your luggage at our airport counters during transport service operating hours, no later than 3:30 p.m. for same-day delivery.

How does luggage transport work ?

You can book online or directly at one of our airport counters. Then, you have two options:

– Drop off your luggage at the SafeBag counter at the airport
– Or leave it at your hotel reception, where it will be collected by our team

Your luggage is then securely transported to the destination of your choice — hotel or airport.

There’s nothing you need to manage. Everything is handled by the hotel staff or the SafeBag service center. You don’t need to wait for the delivery.
You’ll receive an email notification with a real-time tracking link and be informed as soon as your luggage is delivered.

A simple, seamless, and stress-free service so you can travel with peace of mind.

What happens if my flight or arrival is delayed ?

From the airport:
In case of a schedule change or unexpected delay, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule the delivery within our operational limits. However, after the last scheduled departure at 4:00 p.m., same-day transport cannot be guaranteed.

From your hotel:
Your luggage will be collected at the agreed time. It may then be delivered directly to the airport or reassigned to a later delivery round, especially in the case of early pick-up. Once it arrives at the airport, your luggage will be placed in storage at the SafeBag service center, where it will be kept securely.
You benefit from 90 minutes of free storage before any additional fees apply.

Luggage Tracking & Collection

 Can I track my luggage in real time?

Yes! As soon as your luggage is picked up, you’ll receive a real-time tracking link by email.

Where can I collect my luggage at the airport?
You can collect your luggage directly at the SAFE BAG service center counter in the designated terminal.

What happens if I don’t pick up my luggage immediately after delivery?
If your luggage remains at the SAFE BAG service center more than 90 minutes after delivery notification, additional storage fees will apply and must be paid at the counter before collection.

What items are prohibited ?

  • Any item regulated in checked baggage

Payment

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods are accepted?
Payments can be made by credit card or cash, but only at the airport counters. No payments can be made at hotels.

Who processes my payment?

– With a booking: Payment is processed online by Hotel Bagage Service (Bagizy) as part of the transport service. If the 90-minute free storage period is exceeded, SafeBag may charge an additional fee.

Without a booking: Payment is made directly to the SafeBag service center staff at the airport.

Cancellation & Refund

Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
Yes, under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation more than 24 hours in advance → Full refund

  • Cancellation between 12 and 24 hours in advance → 50% refund

  • Cancellation less than 12 hours in advance → No refund

Security & Insurance

Your luggage is automatically covered by our insurance in the event of loss, theft, or damage occurring under the responsibility of Hotel Bagage Service (Bagizy).
Compensation can be provided up to €4,000 per bag, excluding undeclared valuables.
